The Gulf of Gökova

You'll sail east from Bodrum to Çökertme, a wide bay under pine hills with a jetty or two along the shore. Longoz lies deeper in the gulf, reached through a narrow wooded entrance. On the way back you can stop at Orak Island for the clear water on its southern side.

The Datça peninsula

You'll cross the gulf to Knidos, where the ancient harbour at the tip of the peninsula still takes boats overnight. Palamutbükü sits on the southern shore, a pebble beach with a row of tavernas behind it. Turning home, you can anchor off Kargı or Kuruca Bükü.
