Babylon
Babylon is a 41-metre gulet built in 2015 and refitted in 2022 — unusually large for ten guests, which is the point. Five en-suite cabins: a king master, a queen VIP and three doubles, each with a smart TV and its own sound system. The interior is warm honey-toned wood with indirect lighting; the saloon has a bar and a proper dining table, and the aft deck seats everyone for dinner.
She is a real sailing gulet — three masts, sails that get used — with wide side decks and a foredeck laid out in sunpads. Twin Scania 440s for when the wind drops. Based in Bodrum with a crew of six (captain, chef, stewardess, housekeeper, two deckhands); kayaks, waterskis, wakeboard and ringos aboard.

The Bozburun peninsula
Bozburun is where the gulets are built. It's a small working shipyard town without much tourism. You'll spend the day in Serçe, where the road runs out, and anchor in still waters, pine-filled hills all around.
The Lycian shore
Just south of Göcek, the Twelve Islands archipelago marks the start of the Lycian shore. You'll sail past the Lycian rock-tombs and anchor in The Blue Lagoon, with Babadağ rising behind.
