Built by Kadir Turhan shipyard in 2008, Mare Nostrum sails the Turkish coast with little fuss. The 8.4m beam allows centre-deck dining - uncommon on gulets this size. Below, the cabins are lined with matte hand-crafted mahogany. Home port is Marmaris - Bodrum a few days west, Göcek a few days east.

A properly built gulet, finished modern. For groups who want both.

Sample itineraries

The Bozburun peninsula

Bozburun is where the gulets are built. It's a small working shipyard town without much tourism. You'll spend the day in Serçe, where the road runs out, and anchor in still waters, pine-filled hills all around.

The Lycian shore

Just south of Göcek, the Twelve Islands archipelago marks the start of the Lycian shore. You'll sail past the Lycian rock-tombs and anchor in The Blue Lagoon, with Babadağ rising behind.
